Scripture/Story Reading: Ephesians 6:13-17 (NIV)
LESSON LEARNED: In order to be well prepared for all that the world throws at us, we need to put on the FULL armor of God every day! By doing so, we are able to stand strong against the enemy! Our God is victorious!
MEMORY VERSE:
Ephesians 6:13a (NIV)
“ Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground…”
SUMMARY:
The helmet of Salvation, The Sword of the Spirit, The Breastplate of Righteousness, The Shoes of Peace, The Belt of Truth, and The Shield of Faith make up the full Armor of God. Each day, before our feet hit the floor we should clothe ourselves in the armor of God in order to take on all the day has for us. If we are in Christ, and clothed in His armor, than no matter what we face we will always be victorious and we will always stand firm against anything the devil may put in our path.
A SIMPLE PRAYER:
Dear God,
Help me to put on the full armor of God every single morning. Help me to remember that whenever I am fully clothed with your armor, I will always be victorious.
